One night, we went to a “movie session” organized by a hostel in Leon. The short film discussed concerned the Sandinist Revolution in the late 70’s, a revolution that truly marked the country and still does today. There, we met Areison who shared with us the point of view that young people have on this revolution fought by their parents or oldest. A young generation that doesn’t want to be tied up to a past but wants to take action and move forward. Areison’s dream echoes this vision. He wants to go to Germany to study good environmental practices and then to return to Nicaragua to launch his own ecological projects.
